ABOUT
Lucy is a London-based street and fine artist. She studied English at King’s College London before training as an actor at Drama Centre London. Before completing the course, she left drama school to work for a street artist, an experience that marked the beginning of her own visual art practice.
Drawing on her academic background, particularly her studies in body politics and postmodern literature, Lucy’s work explores embodiment as a form of political and feminist activism. Her interest in body dysmorphia emerged from early experiences in the modelling industry, where she became acutely aware of the pressures placed on the body as an object.
At the core of her practice is a desire for bodily autonomy. This ongoing exploration of embodiment has since expanded into her study of energy healing, where she continues to investigate the body as a site of agency, resistance, and transformation.
